Hurrah! Told you I'd update this thing this weekend. Although I have a million other things I should be doing, I've deicded I deserve the laziness for now. X3

Well, jeez, when was the last time I really updated this thing? Before Christmas, I guess. Well, not much happened since then. The only reason I haven't updated is a mixture of a lot of schoolwork, being tired, being lazy, and good old procrastination.

Christmas went down pretty well, and my sisters are back safe in Canada. Dad's home to stay for at least five months, and there weren't too many huge blow-up fight-a-thons over the holidays. I applied to universities a few weeks ago, hopefully I can get into the University of British Columbia. I'm still thinking that after a year I might try to transfer somewhere new, like Scotland or Australia, just for something to do. XD

I finished two major projects for school this week, but now I have a new one to start, and so the cycle of working my ass off at school starts all over again. Good thing I only have classes until April 19th! But then I'm terrified about exams in May, because the scheduling makes no sense to me and fbgskjdf. But I'll survive, somehow! History is what I'm really worried about. There's just so much boring material to go over. c_c;

Ahh, let's see..other than that, I've been swimming on the swim team here Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays afterschool. That coupled with homework usually has me nowhere near the computer most school nights. And I have band early in the mornings, so no late nights for me during the week. Which is mostly why I haven't been around much, but I don't do much over the weekends. I mostly just recharge my batteries. XD Hopefully I can force myself to update more often than every eight weeks or so. I'll try to bump it up to once a week, and I promise to try to say something interesting.

Speaking of interesting! I read the first three of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and I'm a total fangirl. And she's coming to Germany! Close enough for Blythe and I to go fangirl crazy and hop on a train to see her in March. Woo! The only bad part is that we were planning to go to Köln to see her, which would be the closest for us as well as the most familiar area, but the tickets to see her sold out less than a week after they started selling them. So now we have to go to some..other place she'll be at, but it's a little further away. But no bother! I'd go all the way to Berlin to see her. XD

Aaaand not much else has been happening. I've been reading quite a bit, including Patricia Briggs' new Mercy Thompson novel, Iron Kissed. I'm telling you, that book series needs more fans. A coyote mechanic girl, a sexy alpha werewolf, and vampires driving Scooby-Doo vans. What's not to love? Go out and buy Moon Called right now, it's the first book. DO IT. :B

ASDRaoibjksdglfn GOD I'M LAZY. Sorry for not updating this sometime this week, after I got back from Spain, but..I dunno, I've been pretty much doing nothing all week. ;-; But today I've dedicated to cleaning the house and getting my personal life back on track. So I'm starting with LiveJournal, 'cause I've missed posting in it~

Well, like I said, I was in Spain for my October Break. I got back last Sunday, but I haven't been doing much since then. So lemme tell you 'bout Spain, and we'll take it from there!

Spain was awesome. Mom and I went along with this family we've become friends with; I really only like the mother and their daughter, Blythe. She's much fun! But more about her later. The weather in Spain was perfect, because it wasn't too hot but I could walk around all day with just a t-shirt on. The first few days we walked all around the town, shopped, and went to the beach across the street from our hotel. Here's just some general pictures of the trip, and some beach pictures.

We went to Gibratar one day while we were there, which is like a British colony. It's just a big..rock. With a lot of people on it. But it was really fun, 'cause we got to go up the mountain and see the wild monkies! And afterward we went on a dolphin watching tour. And we could see Africa across the water. It was really neat, and I just has to scream, "HEY AFRICA!" when I saw it. XD

And then one day, which I think was my favourite, we went to a crocodile park and saw..a lot of crocs. Including Big Daddy, the biggest crocodile in Europe! Yeaaah, Blythe and I..made a lot of jokes about Big Daddy. I scared a few of my guy friends about how "huge" Big Daddy was. XD; And I got to hold a baby croc, which was one of the best moments of my life. ;-; It was so cute.

All in all, it was a really fun trip. The only part I didn't like was the little boy named Tate. He's extremely annoying and babyish. I wanted to strangle him by the end of the week! XD;;



And then there's the week that just passed, and when I think about it, a lot has happened. Well, first Blythe let me borrow the first two books of the Mercedes Thompson series. The first is called Moon Called and the second is Blood Bound. And..oh good Lord..I'm addicted. I've become a raving fangirl about these books, and the worst part is that Blythe and I are the only people we know who have read these books. I read them both in less than three days, and I've already pre-ordered the third that's coming in January. If you like books that have sexy werewolves, vampires, and walkers (someone who can turn into a coyote at will), along with a love triangle, then you will love these books. And here I go on a rant about it. XD I'll cut it, 'cause most people might find it a little boring. But you wouldn't if you read the books!

I just feeling like writing. So I'ma go on a typing spree of nothing of particular importance. So once again I'll cut it up into pieces so you can just skip whatever's boring and read the juicy bits, if you like~
